Leak culture is bigger than ever, and while I understand getting excited about upcoming releases, it can also harm player expectations. A string in a line of code doesn’t always equate to content coming to a game, and something a reputable insider is told isn’t always the most up-to-date information; plans change. Because of this, Shutter Paw will always try to speculate about leaks with a pinch of salt in articles.
There’s also the impact the leaks can have on the game itself and the development team working hard to create it. Out of respect for them, you’ll never find leaks hosted on Shutter Paw, and we’ll only link to sources reporting on those leaks in extraordinary circumstances.
Story-related leaks will never be covered.
It’s like opening Pandora’s Box. Once the leaks are out there in the wild, you can’t get them back in. But you can interact with them responsibly and prevent further damage, and that’s what Shutter Paw’s goal is when covering leaks.
If you work in the industry and wish to share information with us, please get in touch. Shutter Paw values your privacy and anonymity and isn’t interested in gaining clout through leaks.
Credits
All in-game images and promotional assets used on Shutter Paw belong to the relevant publisher. Despite this, I try to use my own screenshots and footage as much as possible and credit others when I use their captures. Please let me know if you notice I failed to credit you for something! I’ll resolve it as soon as possible.
Many COD-specific quotes and images are sourced from the fantastic Call of Duty Wiki | Fandom and Detonated Codex. Both are invaluable sources for finding some of the older Call of Duty and Zombies lore.
If you enjoy something I write and want to cover it in your posts or videos, please include a link to the article. A shoutout to my Twitter would be appreciated, too! @Shutter_Paw
